Course Overview
This course has been developed for individuals working in a wide variety of health and social care settings, it provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to promote and implement health and safety.
On completion, learners will have an increased understanding of their own responsibilities and the responsibilities of others, relating to health and safety in the work setting. The course provides learners with the required knowledge to prevent the spread of infection, promote fire safety and know how to handle hazardous substances and materials.
On completion of this Virtual College course learners will be able to:

Duration
Approximately 3 and a half hours. With approximately 180 interactive screens, it is estimated that this course will take approximately 3 and half hours to complete (depending on learning speed). As an e-learning course you can complete this training in convenient stages and revisit whenever you wish. The system will record your progress throughout.
